Many town residents are undoubtedly preoccupied with the repercussions of the intense rain we experienced last week. So, consider this a reminder that on Wednesday at 6pm, the town board will hold its public hearing on the subject of short-term rentals. The board's proposed resolution for how to regulate what are typically described as Airbnb and VRBO properties can be read here.

And if you are looking for some joy despite the ugly weather we've been enduring, check out this video by Alex Harris of Roaring Brook Lake residents coming together for a community carp rescue. Of the 105 carp that spilled over the dam into the area below, 91 were delivered back to the lake alive. Local heroes in action!
